The Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club was formed to
create and manage Saint Lucia’s emerging
thoroughbred racing industry.

It has a directive to help provide Saint Lucians with opportunities to participate in and work in thoroughbred racing as well as to promote the very best virtues of a sport that is appreciated the world over as family friendly and as an exciting and sophisticated experience.

The Pearl of the Caribbean

Located just north of Vieux Fort and the Hewanorra International Airport, the Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club’s facilities are part of Stage One of the nation building project called The Pearl of the Caribbean.

Belief in Innovating

The club is also an affiliate to the internationally recognized China Horse Club and multi award-winning Master Planning and Architectural firm Teo A. Khing Design Consultants. Like its more established peers, it shares a belief in innovating to create opportunities and in the value of community and education.

In November 2016

His Royal Highness Prince Henry, Duke of Sussex (Prince Harry) officiated at a ground-breaking ceremony alongside the Honorable Allen Chastanet, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, and Mr. Teo Ah Khing, Chairman of DSH Caribbean Star Limited, at what is now the Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club.
