• Proven experience in relevant role in horseracing operations;
  • Must possess strong management and communication skills; able to multitask with hands-on approach;
  • Oversee racing operations at the club; to initiate and promote strategies that grow racing operations;
  • Proven record in traditional media, digital media, social media preferred. This role will require the successful applicant overseeing the Club’s media requirements as well as its racing operations.


Job Scope:

  • Be the liaison between RSLTC and stakeholders including Trainers, Owners, Veterinarians, Sponsors, Stable Staff, Vendors and other stakeholders;
  • To recruit owners, trainers and horses to domicile and race in St Lucia;
  • To assist the club in promoting racing in St Lucia and in turn to also assist in the promotion of RSLTC through the region and around the world;
  • To ensure that RSLTC’s website is kept up to date and that RSLTC maintains a strong daily social media presence through the posting of relevant and interesting content;
  • To assist with administration of racing including licensing, ordering and tracking of stable supplies;
  • To take entries for races and to accumulate and distribute of the relevant information;
  • To assist with the running of race days particularly from a horse side operations perspective including that all necessary staff, teams and equipment are in place and run to time; Managing race programming to maximize field sizes and wagering turnover;
