Mr Acham’s involvement with horse racing was extensive. “Wilfred Acham was a truly lovely man. Always warm and welcoming with an easy smile and very family focused,” said Mr Teo Ah Khing, Chairman of the Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club.
“Wilfred’s passion for horse racing and his contribution to it has been extensive. This has been felt most notably in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago but also in Saint Lucia where he was the first to commit to the inaugural Pitons Cup in 2019 alongside his close friend Merlyn Samlalsingh. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his friends at this time.”
