2019 Slot License Agreement
License Details
Parties, Slot License and Slot License Fees
1 Slot Licensors Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club Limited (“the Club”)
108 Johnsons Centre,
2 Slot Licensee No.2 Bella Rosa Road,
3 Slot License Gros Islet, Saint Lucia
The Slot Licensee is entitled to:
(1) an entry in the 2019 The Pitons Cup race, being 9 furlongs
(1800m) race conducted at the Club on 13th December 2019 (or
such other date as confirmed by the Slot Licensors by 1st December
2019) with prize money of USD150,000, subject to the terms and
conditions;
(2) select one thoroughbred to own and race from a pool of 12
thoroughbreds, subject to the terms and conditions;
(3) an entry in the 2019 Helen of the West race, being 7 furlongs
(1400m) race conducted at the Club on 13th December 2019 (or
such date as confirmed by the Slot Licensors by 1st December 2019)
with prize money of USD20,000, subject to terms and conditions.
4 Slot License Fee USD20,000
Relevant Dates
The Slot License Fee is USD20,000 to be paid in two non-refundable
5 License Date instalments to the Club as follows:
6 Payment 1. USD10,000, to be paid immediately to secure a Slot License;
2. USD10,000, to be paid by 6pm 14th October 2019 (Atlantic
7 Slot License Dealing
Deadline Standard Time) to confirm ownership of a Slot License.
By 11am Monday 2nd December 2019 (Atlantic Standard Time)
8 Race Acceptance Date
By 10am Thursday 5th December 2019 (Atlantic Standard Time)
